Hi all. I'm developing a BT app which (hopefully) will allow to send files from one dev to another and my questions are the following: 1 - When I send a file with the Exchange Manager does he searches for services on the remote? If so what must the app on the PC tell to the PDA in order for it to send it a file? How does OBEX works in Palm, that is what are the full steps made by Exchange Manager in a connection? 3 - Following advices and exmaples from PalmSource and this forum, I'm using SysCreateDataBaseList to get a list of the existing databases at the pda. The user the selects the app to send and it is (will be) sent. However suppose I send from a PC a JPEG file to the PDA and that I have an app that can handle that but can't beam. So the Exg Mgr will receive the file and open the registered app (that's what i understood from Companion. correct me if I'm mistaken). Now suppose that I want to send that same JPEG file to another PC using the app that I'm developing for the PDA. How do I select that file instead of the fulll database of the app, as I'm currently doing, that is, selecte myjpeg.jpg instead of jpegviewer.pdb. If that's not possible how do I then have access to that file? Someone as mentioned to me Palm Desktop.
