RE: news.falch.net down?

I haven't been able to contact the news server or the web page for 
four days now.  This may be a continuation of the infamous ISP 
problems they keep saying they have, or it may be their swan song.  I 
don't know.  I wrote to someone yesterday who might know, but I 
haven't heard back yet.

FWIW, I can still ping falch.net, but I don't know what that really implies.

If they really *are* gone for good this time, I wonder what will 
happen to the groups and the archives.  I have everything to 
2003-09-05, but that's missing a few days, and I'm not sure what I 
can do with them anyway.
