found 3 ways so far: 1. PilRC Designer 2.1.3.0 Results: Forms a re mess of controls, even trying to convert the english resources (the others are generating horrible things) I still have problems - strange unknown lists, about 300 bitmaps are giving error (cannot find bitmap resource 12 000+ - yep I have no such bitmaps and wonder why this program needs them), controls are repositioned, some missing, most of the bitmaps are missing too... 2. rsrc2rcp 2.19 Results: Crash, nothing is converted 3. rsrc2rcp sourceforge, 0.8 & 0.7 Results: milion of 0 sized bitmaps and 2-3 valid ones :)
Hmm... any ideas? Or need to make my own convertor?
Take the PRC file you got from your last good build using RSRC resources and use PRC Explorer to output a RCP file along with bitmap files. That's the route I originally used when converting projects to V9. It works very well, as its actually creating the RCP file from the real Palm OS resources. The disadvantage is having to then go an apply identifiers to the raw values in the output RCP file.
