Hi all, How can I compile an ARM Library for Palm built on ARM Devloper Suite (ADS) for Intel XScale based ARM processor. The current library works for the Intel ARM processor present in Tungsten C device but I was told that the effecieny of my program will improve if I compile it using Intel C++ Software development suite. Can anyone give me more details as to how one can do this.
Intel can -- they were handing out optimization guides at the PalmSource Europe event. I'd probably recommend against doing an XScale-specific version of your code unless you want to deal with the version hassles and detecting the appropriate CPU at install or runtime. Finally, details on making ARM shared libraries for Palm OS 5 aren't public -- this is something you need licensee or Palm OS ready-program knowledge to do.
