this bug really got me for a while - was easy enough to fix.

hmm.. difficult really - even for myself :(

i attend as many events (palmsource) as possible and constantly
try to stay in touch with the people at that matter and they
normally send me information about new stuff as it is being
worked on; not everyone tho - some.. :)

your experience with the T3 is probably nothing compared to mine.
i had a very early developer release rom. i managed to tweak my
applications to work perfectly, then.. they change the way the
rom works from that rom to the GM rom.

(maybe because of heaps of complaints for compatibility). :P
the special T3 code i had then broke *g* - fixed now tho. as
for the SHIM layer stuff, i think it is a great idea, but, it 
should only be an optional alternative. even SHIM layers have bugs :)
