The following is noted in the manual [1]:
* The Palm OS Emulator (version 2.1d22 or greater) sets [something
up that's important for GDB]
* GDB Panel, in the prc-tools samples [2], is a small Palm OS
application which [also sets that something up]. You need
to use it or something similar when debugging on a real device
or on the Palm OS Simulator.
