I'm just getting started; using this sample app in the Codewarrior Palm tutorial. Am able to debug it using POS, but don't understand what's happening when I debug on device. I'm building with debug target, and I think the prc is being downloaded - the device shows white screen with blinking box, and the CodeWarrior Palm OS Debugger Log Window shows "Connected to: USB Process created: Address=0x176F5A Size=0x6EE CardID=0 DbID=0xFFFE87" but, the prc window (titled "MyErrandD.prc (Thread 0x0)") shows nothing in the Stack pane, "no local variables" in the var pane, and nothing in the source pane. The red X in the toolbar is enabled (kill thread), and the debug button is enabled as well (tooltip = "resume"). I can click Resume, but nothing changes either on the Device or in the Codewarrior windows.
What is the state of the debugger at this point? BTW, I have walked thru the Targeting_Palm_OS.pdf, following all the steps for device debugging (particularly, I have selected Download Application, Show Log Window, and Launch Application After Connecting. Am I missing something? In my Target Settings, I have nothing selected for Post-linker. When I choose PalmRez Post Linker, I get an error about a missing file ...\Obj\RESOURCE.FRK\MyErrandD.tmp (I'm building in Windows.) Any help is greatly appreciated.
