Ok thanks ... well seems I don't have a Rez compiler on my PC (windows). Does not seem there is a Rez.exe anywhere.
With CW6 came the Rez.dll - is it the one I'm supposed to use? If yes, how the file mapping can be associated with stg else than a .exe ?
Thanks again

Using Codewarrior 6 for Palm OS.
Where can I find Rez (and Derez) in that version ? I was told the Rez is embedded in CW6 - can I use it manually ?
Make a .r file, add it to your project, compile. You've just used the Rez plugin.
To Derez, you need to alter the file mappings to associate .rsrc and RSRC files with Rez as a compiler. Once that's done, you can right click on one and "Disassemble" to derez.
See http://www.palmoswerks.com/2002/01/10 for details.
This may not have worked until V7. Updating from V6 to the current V9 is $199, and well worth it IMO.
