I apologize for posting here but getting help from Metrowerks is nearly impossible. Emails have gone a month unanswered and phone calls go right to a voicemail message thats 3 weeks old stating they "might" get to your message.
My questions are 1: what the hell is a "renewal" license? Is it an upgrade? If so, why not just call it an upgrade?? What can you upgrade from?
You can update to V9 from any prior version of CodeWarrior for Palm OS. You must provide your registration number (printed on the original registration card you got with CW) when ordering.
2: Is it even worth it to buy CW9 at this point since they come out with new bug fixes every 6 months?
We just released 9.2, and are still actively supporting V9; I'm working on a "9.3" update right now. I'm fairly sure that there will be no major release in the next few months, although I can't guarantee anything about our future plans for this product right now.
