hello, my first post here... i am totally new to palm... and i am using guidiance from o'reily's 2nd edition of "palm os programming" (2002) which calls for:
- palmos/sdk4 - cygwin 1.5.5-1 - prc-tools
i am using windows98se and i keep getting these parse errors:
In file included
from /PalmDev/sdk-4/include/Core/System/SystemPublic.h:59,
from /PalmDev/sdk-4/include/PalmOS.h:27,
from Src/Main.c:17:
/PalmDev/sdk-4/include/Core/System/NetBitUtils.h:71: parse error before `NetLibBitPutFixed'
i was getting all these stray backslash errors:
/PalmDev/sdk-4/include/Core/System/ErrorBase.h:280: stray '\' in program
which were backslashes "\" at the end of lines that seemed to be a unix/windows textfile line separator confusion... then i went in and manually removed all the backslashes... but i am getting so may errors on the "make"
can anyone help?
IIRC, this indicates that you installed the "wrong" SDK. I can't remember if the Windows or Unix SDK is required for cygwin, but you installed the "other" one.
