I have an app that consists of two files: MyApp.prc, which contains all the code and resources for the GUI, and MySharedLib.prc, which is a library of non-GUI-related functions used by the app. The two .prc files have different Creator ID's, so they appear separately in the list on the Palm Info or Delete screen.
I'm having a problem "uninstalling" the app, that is, deleting the two .prc files. I can bring up the Palm Delete screen and see both .prc files. If I click on MyApp and tap the "Delete..." button, things work fine. But when I click on MySharedLib and tap the "Delete..." button, I get the message "Unable to delete MySharedLib." I have to do a soft reset before I'm able to delete it. Can anyone explain this behavior? Is it simply impossible to delete a shared lib once it has been opened? I'm keeping pretty careful track of clients' opening and closing the lib, and in any case the only app that's using the lib is MyApp, so I don't think I'm accidentally leaving the shared lib open. Is there some special bit I have to set in the lib in order to delete it? Any help would be most appreciated.
