Were you referring to this line from the Palm OS Companion2, p87 "IrDA Stack": "The stack is capable of connection-based or connectionless sessions."
You're right - there aren't really any obvious API functions to support that statement, and its there all by itself in its own paragraph without any supporting sentences. Maybe they were referring to IrTestReq, because AFAIK, thats the only API call that allows a broadcast address and NDM transmission.
