A user of my shareware application emailed me and was very unhappy because his Garmin Ique 3600 crashed during the Hotsync action while he was trying to install my application. He had to do a hard reset in order to recover. I tried to replicate the problem, but was not able to. On my PalmIIIc the application hotsyncs and runs without a glitch. I also tried to install it on the Garmin Ique simulator and that also worked.
Obviously I would like to avoid this happening to anyone else, but I have no idea what could have caused it in the first place. My feeling is that since the program is not even running during the hotsync action... there must be something else that might have caused the crash. Do anyone here have any experience with a similiar problem? Anyting specific that can cause this to happen? Since I do not own a Garmin Ique, I also hope someone here might be willing to test if my application also does the same on his/her Garmin Ique.
