In PalmOS, a call to FtrGet(...) can gets you the processor currently used. The problem with that function is that it only returns the processor generation (ARM920T, DragonBall EZ, ARM925, ...) but not the CPU manufacturer. This information can be important when doing hardware specific stuff.
