I didn't (yet) because the documentation says that there are cases, when
these events are not sent and still the device is suspended (for example,
when battery has been taken off).

It would be also nice to track when the device is turned on (also for
running application) -- there seems to be more sense to close the
application when the device is activated, not deactivated.
