After doing lots of wireless debugging over the last month, I can suggest that you put checkpoints into the code which write to a log file which you can then hotsync off of the unit for analysis. I believe it is impossible to get the emulator to live through any wireless commands, but I've been working with Symbol 802.11b, so I could be wrong.
Good luck. -----Original Message----- From: Claire [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, December 04, 2003 2:47 PM To: Palm Developer Forum Subject: Debugging Communication Problems Hi, I'm trying to debug an application which has to communicate over Bluetooth or USB to a PC. Unfortunately, the bug I'm working on only shows up after it has actually connected to the PC and exchanged some data. I'd really like to use the debugger with this but since I open the serial port to talk to the PC I can't also hook up my Palm to the debugger at the same time. Is there anyway to work around this? I haven't been able to make the simulator actually connect to my PC over BT, is there anyway to do that? Thanks for any help you can give, Claire -- For information on using the Palm Developer Forums, or to unsubscribe, please see http://www.palmos.com/dev/support/forums/
