I've just tried updating to PilRC 3.0 beta 4. Replaced the PilRC directory
under the "CW for Palm OS Tools". I've also replaced the pilrc.exe in
"bin/plugins/support/Palm_OS" directory. But it seems to have no effect. I'm
still getting this warning message! Any ideas?
Hmmm... looks like the bug fix was done after beta 4 was built. I'll try to get a beta 5 build in place on the sourceforge site tonight.
In the meantime, you should be able to ignore the warning -- the basic issue is that for push buttons, the frame attribute doesn't actually alter the way the OS renders the button. It ALWAYS draws the rectangular border. So, we removed the ability to specify a frame. However, that triggered the buggy warning about not having a frame specified. For beta 5, I went through, looked at the data structures and how Palm OS actually handles the resources, looked at the Rez formats, and got it all refactored to work correctly.
