I recently finished development on a Palm application. When I was in Debug mode within CodeWarrior, my prc file would generate an application file and a separate database file. I had the ability to delete the database without affecting the application on my palm.
Since compiling the Release version of my code, I had to modify some CodeWarrior linker settings to use the proper creator ID, so that my app would sync with my conduit. But since then, I only see one application and database file combined.
I assume you mean that you see only the application when you use the launcher's Info or Delete commands.
The standard Palm OS launcher will only show the application when it has associated databases that share the same creator ID. To delete just one file, use a third-party utility like FileMan or Filez which lets you see all databases installed on the device.
