I have just bought a T3 as a n upgrade on a M125 which used a raw daat IR link to collect data from data loggers. I cannote get the application to work on the T3, it works Ok on the m125, I have tried all sorts of things and can get it to send data and to receive data but not both together; different port setting are required for send and receive. Fom this and reading post on various newsgroups I believe there may be a bug in the OS which prevents bi directional data flow. Can anyone confirm this or better if anyone has got it to work could they tell me how possibly with a code snippet. If the T3 can't do this which, if any, of the later Palm models can or possibly another PDA that uses the Palm OS I intended to use the larger screen and resolution to plot results if no Palm is suitable any suggestion on alternatives.
