it could be a problem with PRCExplorer - have you checked that it supports
displaying 144 density fonts? and, if it does - do you have the latest 
version of the software?

how does it look on the device? does the high res font work? if so, its
more likely a bug/lack of feature in PRCExplorer - and, not PilRC. if it
doesn't display right on the device (i am sure this was tested), then it
is a bug of PilRC possibly. there should be some font examples in the PilRC
source distribution.
