While trying to debug an application, when I drag and drop it to the simulator with the debug version of palmos 5.3 [others also tried] (or use the install database menu function), simulator crashes and the entire computer followings suit. Thus, I do not even get a chance to load the debugger.
When trying to debug from an actual palm 5 device, PalmDebugger cannot contact the palm (via usb), even when it is set on shortcut-dot-1 or shortcut-dot-2 (both tried as well as palm's dot-dot-2 sample application). The application in question loads and executes perfectly on devices running palm 4.0 and below. Does anyone know how either of these problems can be resolved?
