When programming in C and using a PNOlet, the compiler takes care of those since the typedef did not change. When using a language like NSB/Palm from m68k code, you need to account for those variations yourself because the compiler doesn't.

So if you're accessing these via a shared library, which is written in C, do you still need to account for this 'variations'? My guess based on what you've said above would be 'no'..
