Hi, all. We have built an application and we set the irSetScanningMode to disable the InfraRed of a PDA (it only take effect if the PDA soft-reset again). Now our problem is:
There is a form which is used to beam a data to the other PDA. I was trying to use the irRestoreScanning (or any alternatives?) to open the Beam Receive. The PDA can beam the data to the other PDA but at the end of the beaming, it will prompt a message to user whether want to open the Beam received function? I want to beam the data and opening the Beam Received silently without user knowledge. And the PDA is expecting a file to be beamed by the other PDA. At the end of all the transactions done, i would like to disable the beam feature of the PDA silently. Cld you pls help to guide me? Shouldn't I use irSetScanningMode at the first place and use the irSuppressScanning for locking the Beam feature temporarily instead? Your comments is greatly appreciated.
