As posted before, I'd really love to see 3) first. 1) is very slow and inconvenient, 
and 2) requires additional setups and firewall configuration. Not everyone is 
able/allowed to use P2P software.

Another drawback of a monolithic download is upgradability. There are new milestones 
of Eclipse every few weeks. The Eclipse version you provide with the download is 
probably already outdated.
