is it possibile to have a NON MODAL form with a button on it that, if pressed, generates something? that is: is it possibile to generate a form just like the one that appears when the handheld tries an automatic connection to the net, and that has a stop button that we can push to avoid this operation? this is not a real modal form... how can i build a "mother form" and a "child form" (NOT MODAL) that disapper after a certain operation and that has a button that can stop the operation?
Yes it's possible. Open the form and begin your operation. Check for events while performing your operation and respond to them appropriately.
