Do you have a conduit for this application running on the desktop? It has to call SyncPurgeDeletedRecs (or do the equivalent in the framework it's using) in order to have those records cleared off the device.
Thanks for this info. No I don't have a conduit. I use the default system conduit (with Handheld replace Palm Desktop). I hope it calls SyncPurgeDeletedRecs().
If you don't have a conduit, you may want to consider using DmRemoveRecord(). I'm pretty sure the DmArchiveRecord() and DmDeleteRecord() functions are used primarily for saving data to be used in the conduit. Is there a reason you don't use DmRemoveRecord()?
