determing user's email address

For an app (primarily for the treo 600 at the moment; Other phone 
enabled devices to follow...) that I'm working on if possible I'd like 
to be able to look up the users email address. The few places I can 
think of it being stored are:
- An entry for the Contact in the Address Book marked as the "Business Card.
- As as an account setting in either the built in mail program or some 
3rd party mail program.

Does anyone happen to know how I can figure out which entry in the 
Address book is flagged as the Business card? Also, does anyone how I 
might be able to pull the account settings from the default mail app 
(I'll address 3rd party mail apps later...)? Is there a simpler way? 
Asking the user to enter it is not an ideal solution in our situation.
