Not sure exactly what you're asking, but if your device has the capabilities (wireless modem, et al) you can always connect to the network/internet with the NetLib functions and do a data transfer that way.

How could I update my application without a hotsync? We use a ftp server to transfer data from back end to palm device.
I would like to run a program in the palm to install new version of application after receive it from ftp server.
