Basically, I only want to send images appropriate to the Palm (low or high density, monochrome, color, etc.). I have created Palm bitmap families on the desktop destined for the Palm, but I'd like to cull them down at sync time to conserve memory on the Palm.
So, do you guys know any way of detecting the Palm characteristics at sync time? I know if I had an application on the Palm leave a bread crumb of information that would work, but I'm not sure what database I'd want to leave it in. And the Palm application would have to have run at least once before my conduit could leverage off the hint.
