Finally, I need to test my program on a real palm (Tungsten W). And I have the very famous problem "place the device in the console mode by entering shortcut ..2". I found many posts from this forum, but I still have no idea about it.
There is no graffiti area on Tungsten W. What should I do? Just open any program which allows text input, say, a notepad, then enter "shortcut ..2" (I know "shortcut" is the lower case letter 'l')? I did that, nothing happens, and my codewarrior still complains that problem.
Download a copy of the DotDotTwo application from
http://kb.palmsource.com/cgi-bin/palmsource.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=505
and use that instead of trying to make your own Graffiti shortcut.
You can do it with the keyboard, but you'd only enter one period -- the "dot dot" referred to the original Graffiti gesture to make a period character.
