The app I'm working on at the moment, is an app that has regular
communication using socket connections over GPRS with our server in the
background. However, we've noticed with it being on there, at various
times, that it will occasionally "freeze", showing a white screen and
then not respond for a few minutes. This seems to occur even when our
app isn't running (ie: switching from the browser to the launcher, phone
to launcher, email to phone, etc...) I've read about other apps that can
conflict and cause such problems. Does anyone have any suggestions on
what things to look for? Are there any tools out there that will help me
to identify memory/processor usage, sort of like the windows task manager?
