Hi, I'm thinking of upgrading my Palm....I currently have an M515.
I am undecided between the T3 and the E. I don't really need the Bluetooth, the E would do me fine. The reason I'm asking the question is I've noticed that the processors are different....is one better than the other?
Which one would you choose and why?
The Tungsten T3 will let you test a much wider range of situations than the Tungsten E, including dynamic input areas, voice recording, and serial communications. It also has twice as much memory, and a 400MHz XScale processor, instead of the E's 132MHz OMAP. The T3 comes with a cradle, while the E only has a USB cable and separate charger.
I guess my recommendation is for the T3 if you can afford it. As a developer, I'd suggest making sure you're part of the pluggedin.palmone.com program, as there are specific developer discounts that reduce the price of the T3 significantly.
