Keyboard question

First let me apologize for sending three copies of the same question to 
the list yesterday. I tried to cancel the first send but it obviously 
got sent and I didn't realize it until after I sent the second. I don't 
know what happened with the third copy.

I'm still working on masking a password field and am now forced to deal 
with the user selecting the keyboard modal form and entering text that 
way. I've looked through the books I have and I can't find how this 
works. I assume when the keyboard form is displayed it just gets a copy 
of what's in the fields text handle. I'm also assuming that when the 
user taps done that the text handle is then substituted for the fields 
text handle.

What events get generated in the process and how I can get the text 
handle from the keyboard form?
