I tried to establish client connection to simple TCP/IP server application running on Palm device (m505) connected to PC via USB cable but it seems does not work. However I can connect other way - from Palm to PC.
My configuration is: WXP Pro, Softick PPP 2.15 and Palm m505
Do you have any experience with connecting TCP/IP server application running on Palm via USB from PC? It works fine in emulator with m505 ROM and redirected TCP/IP calls to host TCP/IP but failed with OS5 simulator as well.
I have customer sites doing this, some with the 505.
You need to look to your program and at configuration issues on your system..
For example, why doesn't the OS5 Simulator work and are you running the M505 ROM in debug mode (you should be!)?
