What I would like to do is support resizing of forms based upon collapse of the dynamic input area.
Since I have about 100 forms with anywhere from 3 to 20 individual elements on each form, I would prefer to use some kind of algorithmic approach rather than hand coding what every form would do. For example, I would resize lists and tables and shift buttons which are below or to the right of tables and lists. Has anyone written something like that?
Palm OS Cobalt uses a technique like with its window constrain resources and attributes for controls that describe resize and movement policy. If you're building your own scheme, you may want to look at those APIs and use those as a guide for Palm OS 5 DIA support.
