Adrian, many thanks for the link. I looks like it simplifies much of the 
complexity I need to do but maybe you can help with something. I 
downloaded the source code and loaded the project into CodeWarrior (I'm 
running v9.3). When I make it, I get heaps of error messages. Maybe 
something in my CodeWarrior preferences/configuration is pulling the 
compilation down. When I loaded the project, CW prompted me to convert 
it which I did. Any ideas?

This PalmOS library is compiled in C. It is provided with its .h file and
documentation.
The library can be used by all applications developed with CodeWarrior,
Falch.net, PRC-Tools, HSPascal and PP Compiler.
Included: Generic conduit for CPDB.net and CPDBWizard
The generic conduit CPDBConduit allows to convert a PC database in a
CSV-like format into a Palm database (CPDB format).
CPDBWizard enables you to describe your data bases and generates for you the
