David, the iQue forum has some very good developers there who can advise 
you, as well as others who have a deep understanding of the data 
structures used. True, it is not a developers forum and short of punting 
your questions at some of sci. newsgroups I don't think you will find a 
better place to go. As has been remarked, there is not enough appeal to 
expect more than a few casual GPS developers in the Palm forums and 
certainly not enough perhaps to attract enough interest in a specific 
forum if you set one up. HTH.

Still, while the user forum that someone kindly gave a link to is great, it doesn't 
really substitute for a GPS *developer* forum, does it?  If there isn't one out there 
and PalmSource doesn't see fit to host one, perhaps I'll start one myself.  (I'll wait 
a week or so and see if there's any additional responses to this).
