My understanding is that this API is supported on OS 5.3 and later, and maybe supported on earlier devices (e.g. some Clies).

What I'm interested in, is are there any 480x320 devices, where the user CANNOT change the system orientation (like they can in Tungsten T3)?

I ask this because I was thinking of checking this system setting to determine whether to go into "landscape" mode or not, but I don't want to be in a situtation where some users have a 480 device but no way of choosing a landscape orientation.

If there are such devices, what is the best way to handle that situation? Are there Clie-specific ways for the user to choose orientation and Clie-specific ways for the application to determine this choice?
