The shift indicator is a control you added to your form. Just remove it from the resource. (open up the dialog in your resource editor, select the control and press the delete key) However, if you plan to have your application 'approved' by Palmsource, you may want to leave it. http://www.palmos.com/dev/core/compatibility/test.html
