Hi guys,
I was wondering like how easy it would be to Decompile a .prc file!
It is fairly easy. Have you used Palm Application Explorer? It's a desktop application that lets you look at all the components of a PRC file, including getting a disassembly of the 68K code.
Actually, I am installing my application (.prc file) and sending it to client for end-user testing. And my obvious concern is the security of my code!
Can anybody please tell me if I need to do something and if yes then how I can proceed! BTW, I am using CW9 as IDE and working on PALM OS 5.
There are techniques to protect your code. The standard white paper on the topic is at
