I input 'a' on Japanese mode,then do the same as 1.jpg of the attachment.You will see the 2.jpg of the attachment. Attention:It is different between it and selected state. 3.jpg of the attachment is the selected state.
What you are seeing here is Japanese text entry using a FEP (front end processor). When you tapped the top button, that told the FEP to convert the character you'd just entered.

What do you mean by "...get the state"? The field selection in the second image is from 0 to 2, the same as in the 3rd image. The reason it looks different in the second image is that the field code is receiving information from the FEP that tells it to highlight the Hiragana "a" character as converted text.
