I thought it wouldn't be to hard either, and I tried it a while back, just working with some GPL code.... WOW especially not knowing PNOs & ARM development. It is REALLY much bigger than you think. We ended up just interfacing with PocketTunes. And to add on that, the API will work just fine in the trial version :)
