Please try not to confuse "Free Software" with "freeware". They
are very different licensing models. Please be aware of the differences
when incorporating either types into your products and projects.
You can't just "look at GPL code" directly to gain a better
understanding of how it works, and then put that into a non-GPL piece of
software you provide on a non-free basis.
