I have to create an application to print from an application. I have connected the printer to the device using a USB cable. Can i use the Serial Manager API for this communication? Is there any sample code that uses the Serial Manager API for printing?
This won't work unless the printer acts as a USB Host, since the Palm OS device is always a USB Device, with the exception that the Alphasmart Dana supports being a USB Host for connecting to printers.
Have you looked at any of the available printing libraries? IrPrint, PrintBoy, and PalmPrint are all options that you can use (Google for them).
