One you've started the Treo 600 simulator and gotten to the launcher, right click on it and choose "Storage/Save..." and save a SSF file back out to your current folder. Then quit PalmSim, edit the PalmSim.ini file in a text editor, look for the line that reads

LastStorageSnapshot=C:\palmsim\snapshot.ssf

Make a copy of this line and change the leading part to "StorageSnapshotFile=" giving you something that looks like

StorageSnapshotFile=C:\palmsim\snapshot.ssf

Now, when you start PalmSim, it will reload the old set of DBs and be initialized. Note: the SSF files are dependent on the run environment in which PalmSim was started, so a SSF file that works when PalmSim is started from Explorer might not work with a PalmSim that's started from your IDE. They also are very specific to a version of PalmSim and its ROM image.

Is it possible that this procedure only works with the Treo 600 simulator? I've tried it with the Tungsten T Simulator which is included with Codewarrior 9, but it doesn't worked.
