I'm happy to announce that Palm OS Developer Suite 1.0 has reached the beta milestone, and we've posted a new version of it on the PalmSource developer site.

This will likely be the last public release before the final 1.0 version this summer. Please note that as a beta version, this is still covered by the PalmSource prototype agreement, and shouldn't be used to build production software.
We've been very busy squashing bugs and finishing features. Here are some highlights:
* C++ support for Palm OS Protein applications running in the Palm OS Cobalt Simulator
* fixes for code parsing when using the Palm OS Protein API headers
* integration of Ton van Overbeek's multi-section debugging changes for prc-tools
* default debug configurations for POSE, PalmSim, and devices
This release does not include floating point support in PNOs; the work was still under review when the beta build was prepared.
