Now at least I am able to sync using serial cable but not able to debug my app on the device yet!
As soon as I click on debug option in the codewarrior (with my project open there), it pops up an error message in the codewarrior itself saying "The handle is invalid".
Have you disabled HotSync Manager when you try to do a serial debug? If it has control of the serial port, CodeWarrior cannot open it to communicate with your device.
