I've got four problems:
1) Does anyone know the character codes of the hardware left/right buttons? Up and down are 11 and 12, but I can't find the codes for left/right. I need them for horizontal scrolling.
Left/right vary from device to device. PalmOne devices use a five-way navigation scheme described in the PalmOne SDK. The Treo 600 uses the vchrRocker keys that are defined in the Palm OS 5.0 R3 SDK. Sony devices with left/right keys use their own keycodes that are listed in the Sony SDK.
4) My Tungsten T is hopeless when it comes to the digitizer. It constantly loses focus by 1/2-1 cm. Does anyone know if this is a known production flaw with the T?
This does seem to be a common flaw with the Tungsten T. I've seen it happen on several devices. There's a homebrew fix for this that involves opening the device -- search the Tungsten user forums at Brighthand.com for details.
