I always wonder, why Palm cannot publish a fully functionable setup of a developer suite for Windows platforms.
I just like to see this: --- - download and install a developer package - (not necessary, but maybe reboot the system) - open a sample project - compile and make a prc file - synchronize
Is it a big question?
This is what our intention is. For most people, the PODS 1.0 beta works like this -- I know on the two systems I've installed it into, it worked fine out-of-the-box. It does everything but the "synchronize" step; instead, it uses the debugger protocol to let you download your application to a device or simulator. If you really want to use the Install conduit, you can always right click on your PRC file in the project and choose "Open With/System Editor" to launch the installer tool.
