As you know, the docs all say that the devices will (might) not support SPI mode after OS 4.x, but there is no follow-up on that and I have not read that manufacturers have had to recall SDIO devices due to their failing with OS 5 devices� I read for hours yesterday and it certainly looks as if the MMCA is a cheaper way to go, but that it only works in SPI mode (I think) (I still have another couple of hundred pages of reading to do). Anyway, I appreciate your feedback on this matter.
